The so called wolf children had no education in the frames of the human society. In 18th and 19th century hundreds of feral children were found in forests, in fields or in the holes of wolves, bears and other wild animals. There were no proof for the reality of these stories, scientist were not sure which cases were true or which were hoaxes. Some stories were gossips or roumors, others had some truth in details but it was never confirmed that a child was found in a hole of a wild animal or the animals have nurtured the children. Early psychologists, sociologists, antropologists and philosophers discussed the topic whether these children were mentally ill or mentally retarted in consequence of lacking presence of other people. If a feral child was captived he or she could not learn to speak and in the most reported cases they remained totally dumb. However their insticts of survival and physical power were more developed than in average children.
We can see that our world today is more dense than the society 200 years ago. People live in urban environment and in the suburbs or in the center of even bigger cities some blocks are totally wrecked. People in the slums can not pay tax and social insurance becuse they are unemployed, not educated and underserved.
The young members of the 'mara' or other gangs are adolescent wolf children who bind an alliance to overcome in such environment. They are not strong in academics but real experts of street life. They are not motivated to join schools, they don't have a good reason to get a proper job or to be careful for the future. They are allways prepared for the fight, completely alerted with vigilance. They evolved special arts of communication: graffiti and hand signs.
groups of archaic people
I spoke to a biologist who told me that the archaic people about 500.000 years ago lived in small groups of 10-15 species. The females were continuously pregrant or nursing their infants. The tribe had a huntig territory with flexible boundaries. They moved in the nature and lived within the nature. If they encountered an other group of archaic people the fight was inexorable between them. The stucture of a group was highly hierarchical. If someone left the group of was forced to do so she or he died within a couple of weeks.
I have found some analogous patterns in the (criminal) gang scientific literature. Fisrt the female members of the gang are also frequently pregnant and after 10 to 15 years of their adolescence they become family mothers with more children than the mothers in the major society. Criminal gangs on the other hand have also blocks or streets to defend or also bulidings in penal institutions. If these gangs have a common interest they begin to fight for the ownership. These territorial activities of the criminal gang is not limited in the physical space but it also exist in the social context. To build up relations and business or to find clients for the goods originated from crimes (e.g. drugs, fireamrs, prostitution, human smuggling etc.) is also a territorial movement and interaction within the field of social reality. The structure of the criminal gangs is also hierarchical, and the basis of the internal rules are masculinity and machoism. If a member of the criminal gang tries to quit the gang the retribution can be a brutal execution made by the remaining gang members without justice.
